This PEGI and Age Rating Policy ("Policy") sets out the approach of SYNTRIX NEXUS LTD ("Company"), registered number 17119014, 20 Wenlock Road, London, N1 7GU, England, United Kingdom, operating exxo.store at https://exxo.store, to the display and enforcement of age ratings applicable to Digital Products on the Platform. This Policy should be read together with the Terms and Conditions. Unless otherwise defined in this Policy, all capitalised terms shall have the meanings ascribed to them in the Terms and Conditions.
2. The PEGI System
The Pan European Game Information (PEGI) age rating system is the primary classification scheme for video games in the United Kingdom. The Company applies these age restrictions to digital supply as a matter of compliance with applicable UK regulatory expectations.The Company relies on information provided by Suppliers and does not guarantee the accuracy of age ratings where such information is incomplete or incorrect.

3. Legal Obligations
Under the Video Recordings Act 1984 (as amended), it is a criminal offence in the United Kingdom to supply a PEGI 12-, PEGI 16-, or PEGI 18-rated game to a person under the applicable age. This applies equally to digital supply, including the supply of digital activation codes and game keys. The Company complies with these statutory obligations.
4. Age Rating Display
The Company displays the applicable PEGI age rating on each product listing page where the rating is available from the Supplier. Where a rating is not available, the Company will display the best available content information from the Supplier. Users who believe a rating is incorrectly displayed should notify the Company at [email protected].
5. Age Verification
All Users must confirm at the point of Account registration that they are at least eighteen (18) years of age. For purchases of PEGI 18-rated products, the Company may implement additional age verification steps including provision of government-issued identity documentation. The Company reserves the right to cancel any Order where it has reasonable grounds to suspect the purchaser does not meet the minimum age requirement applicable to the relevant product.
6. Parental Responsibility
Parents and guardians purchasing Digital Products on behalf of or accessible to minors must review the applicable PEGI rating and content descriptors before purchase. The Company strongly recommends configuring parental controls on the relevant Third-Party Platform (e.g., Steam Family Controls, Xbox Family Safety, PlayStation Family Management, Nintendo Parental Controls). The Company is not responsible for unauthorised use of an Account by minors where the User has failed to maintain appropriate security measures, without prejudice to your statutory rights.
7. Content Descriptors
PEGI content descriptors indicate the specific types of content that informed the age rating (e.g., Bad Language, Discrimination, Drugs, Fear, Gambling, Sex, Violence, In-Game Purchases). Descriptors are displayed on the product listing where available from the Supplier.
